This is the kind of coffee we love to drink every day. Sweet and balanced, but still interesting enough to keep your attention. This is a blend that comes from the highlands of Guatemala, pulling together coffees from Huehuetenango, San Marcos, and Nuevo Oriente. These are regions that consistently produce clean, high-grown coffees with great structure.
Our importing partner in Guatemala stays close to the producers, many of whom have been growing coffee for generations. The focus is simple: buy good coffee, handle it right, and keep it consistent without losing its origin. The coffees are washed, fermented for about 24 hours, and patio dried for a little over a week. It shows clean in the cup.
What you get is a coffee that’s very sweet up front, with some light fruit character and a clean finish. It’s approachable without being flat, and it holds up whether you’re pulling espresso or brewing a pot at home. This is the kind of profile we want behind the bar and in your kitchen, something you don’t have to think too hard about, but still very much appreciate when drinking it.
