Preparing for a great day

5 am. Before the traffic noise builds, before the emails start coming in, before your mind gets pulled in ten different directions. Just a quiet moment where you can sit with your thoughts and ease into the day instead of rushing into it.
The sound of birds, the first light coming up over the Chicago skyline, the warmth of a really good cup of coffee in your hands, it all slows things down in the best possible way. No phone, no noise, no pressure yet. Just a chance to breathe, look around, and appreciate where you are for a minute before the pace of the day takes over. My most important task is to water the tomato plants.
It’s simple. That’s the whole point. Small quiet moments in the morning have a way of setting the tone for everything that follows.
